Title Overview

As a teenager & young adult living in the fast lane it surely did make me try to lose my mind (as the song says). But then there was a change that occurred in my life in which I am glad to say “I’d like to keep my mind !” Guess that’s why I love 2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. That goes to show me who had control over my mind! Don’t think for a moment that we are not who we hang out with, listen to, read about or look at! I am thankful for a new walk, and a new talk for I once was lost but am now found!

In Your Face Devil!

Just want to give God all the glory!  Several ladies and two ministers from our church witnessed a most amazing event tonight!  There were 13 ladies that are in the local prison that were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus! Our prayer is that someone takes what is being taught to them week after week and apply it to their life! We serve a "life changing God!"  Our Bishop used to always say "If you're religion don't change you, than you need to change your religion!"  One of the ministers said this tonight,"Come as you are and leave changed!"  Amen to that!

Well, thank you Lord for moving mountains once again........

Happy 18th Anniversary

2012

1994

Here's a Story:
of a lovely lady (lol)
who was busy raising two children on her own!
One day she went to a church & was filled with the Holy Ghost!
Then she met a man to whom she married and they became one!
Then along came three more children and we became the happiest family!
That's the day we became "The Greatest Bunch"!
"The Greatest Bunch", "The Greatest Bunch"
That's the day we became "The Greatest Bunch"!
LOL Had to throw this one in here!!!!!
Happy Anniversary to man that loves and fears God & became a husband to me, daddy to my children, and now an awesome "Poppy".
It don't take much to be a father but it takes a man to be a daddy!
Thank you for being the man you are to raise a God Fearing Family!
I am proud to say that you are my husband!
I LOVE YOU!

A Daughter in Law

As you wed, our prayer is that God leads &
takes ya'll thru each and every day!

To our daughter/sister in law:

Welcome to our crew
Getting married is an awesome thing to do
When you think family, you can think of us
For you are now part of this fuss
All joking aside, we love you very much
And hope you feel such
Welcome to our family
For you add a warm and charming touch!
We know you as a daughter/sister now and love you very much!

Being Conservative

Wow, how much water flows thru your gutter cans & washes under your house.  I probably could have filled up another one.  This was a drum that my husband cut the top off and cleaned out to catch rain water.  We can start using this water to give to the chickens.  He will have to figure out a way to water the garden because there's no way to pick up this baby. Oh, and as far as the chickens, they laid 4 eggs today.  This is soooo exciting.  God was very creative when he thought about ways to feed us!

New Additions

HeeeeeeHawwwwwww!
We gotta tractor ya'll.......that's a chicken tractor for those of you who are like me that when you think of a tractor it has nothing to do with chickns (and no that's not a misspell...lol) I just wished I coulda been there to see the two big chickens trying to catch the 8 little ones.
(I won't say who the two big chickens were)
Watch out Sis Barbara......my family can walk and act like the chickens too!!!  Just ask em' dare pardner!!!  haha
Hello there.....are you my mommy????  I am confused I was recently living somewhere else????  Reckon we gonna have to come up with some names for these lil rascals that we are mimicking?  Any ideas?  Sally, or is Sally a camel??
Oh yeah, talk about sweet.....the yellow melons are growing very quickly.  I can't wait to be able to eat one.  Oh my goodness, I never dreamed it would be so easy to have a melon patch.  This is soooooo cool!  One fell off the stem (it of course was not ready) so we were able to share with the chickens.  Now in the picture above that was some kind of honeydew melon that everyone was picking up @ Sam's that was disgusting.  So they got to enjoy that as well.

Puppy (3 Week) Update

The puppies are now 3 weeks old & getting even cuter.....they opened their eyes last week & starting to walk on all four legs.  Too bad I can't keep them all.  I do have a favorite though...I named him Joseph for his many colors. His picture is the one at the bottom.

Female, I call Smiley, & male
Female who probably has a home already.  Her name gonna be "Prim" for Primrose.
Smiley
Here's Joseph.....I was rubbing his back so he sprawled out.....tooooo cute!  He is actually I guess what you would call the "runt".
