Title Overview

As a teenager & young adult living in the fast lane it surely did make me try to lose my mind (as the song says). But then there was a change that occurred in my life in which I am glad to say “I’d like to keep my mind !” Guess that’s why I love 2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. That goes to show me who had control over my mind! Don’t think for a moment that we are not who we hang out with, listen to, read about or look at! I am thankful for a new walk, and a new talk for I once was lost but am now found!

1 small can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 graham cracker crust
1 small tub Cool Whip

Mix everything together until smooth and pour into pie crust. Refrigerate until set about 1 hour. Easy as pie!
Thank You God's Lil Miss!

Oh yeah & the remainder of the lemon juice went into ice trays in the freezer.  The kids are having a blast with frozen lemon cubes.  Thanks PlainOldKristi ... I am liking this blogging stuff & so is my husband.
Ah Yes, see why you have children !!!  No just kidding, they actually volunteered!  Even Eloise helped ! Thanks !  I have to say though, my lil man has always been a worker !

From Jennifer’s Kitchen

Ok so what do you do when you have bananas that look like this?? Yuk!! Thanks to my friend Beppi…I made a bread or cake..call it what you want. It was delicious! I am also someone who believes you use what you got in the pantry, forget running to the store...cuz you go to the store & you end up purchasing more than you went there for…right? So the recipe called for chopped pecans & all I had was almonds so I chopped them up. Then, I didn't have loaf pans so I used my skillet….mmm it worked!

Banana Nut Bread with Chocolate Chips
INGREDIENTS:

1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix (whatever you have in the pantry)
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 cup mashed ripe bananas
1/2 cup chopped pecans
½ cup chocolate chips

In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, egg and milk. Add bananas; beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Stir in pecans & chocolate chips. Pour into two greased 8-in. x 4-in. x 2-in. loaf pans or skillet. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks to cool completely.

AND WHALAH!!! Dessert!!

Thanks Beppie for the idea!

To all my fellow bloggers (you know who you are) I finally came up with a title!  That has been my dilema, yes coming up with a title!  lol  And yes there's a meaning behind it!  I will see if anyone can figure it out...It's in retrospect to the change in my life in the over the last 18 years!  Let me know if you figure it out...In the meantime, it is gonna take some time for me to figure this blogging stuff out!!!!

Here is pictures of my garden (& a lil harvest) that I have been trying to maintain.  Yes what you see is just about it with the exception of my baby citrus trees that I hope makes it through the upcoming freezes!   Isn't much, but it's a start....I just love being able to go outside and pick my veggie for dinner!

Pray for my baby girl, she's home sick!!  :'(
