Domestic Engineering 101

For several months we have been trying to get to this monster project (well, I think so anyway)!  Nothing is impossible with my husband and son....lol...guess they are related to GOD!  We purchased the property next door where a beautiful family and a beautiful home once was.  Then came Katrina and washed it away.  We had a shed built on our property and now it's time to move it to the other end of the property line.....dondondondondon! 

Step 1) Bubster to the rescue!  Hercules Jr will attempt to move this puppy by himself....The milk must be working.  (you have to go a couple of posts back to understand why I said this)

Step 2) Fence removed, boards underneath along with roller pipes.  This baby is going roller skating.  Hopefully anyway!

AND AS THE ONLOOKERS LOOK ON, IN AMAZEMENT........

Step 3)  Another day (day 2).......the story continues....so follow along..This shed will be moved soon!

This young lady is from Reesie's 1st litter.  Her owners recently sent me a picture of her. 
These dogs are very smart & great with children!  Isn't she beautiful?

Congratulations to my nephew upon graduating from high school!
What an accomplishment!  Especially considering he was a preemie weighing 1 lb 2 oz.  WOW!
AND, he just got his drivers license....so watch out!

Puppies, Birthdays, Mother's Day, Parties!

REESIE is a mommy again! 

Hope every Mother had a great Mother's Day.....Everyone came to my house Saturday night and Sunday to enjoy being together.  One of the below pics are my wonderful gifts & cards I received. 

In addition to Mother's Day, it was Kandis' 26th Birthday! 

 Oh my someone (not sure if it's me or her...lol) is getting old!

Reesie had 2 boys & 3 girls, 2 are brown and 3 are lil Oreo's with their own unique white stripes on their back!  She started contracting about 1:30pm & was finished by 5:30ish.  What an experience, I was by myself at first and got nervous because the 1st one's foot took a while to come out so I called my Shihtzu expert friend and she came and assisted.  By the time she got here, the foot was out, & I had to bust the 2nd bag.  The 1st one must have worn her out, but oh boy, she had a long way to go.  She's such a good mommy though....she wont leave them.  Every time Oreo comes around she gives him a fair warning to stay clear!  lol  I was gonna put a video of one of the deliveries but decided not to because it is quite gruesome.  In fact, Bubby didn't even eat dinner because of this experience front row!

Cook Off 2012 (Fundraiser for our Youth Dept)
Went very well!  I made Sis Bea's homemade chili!  Congratulations to all the winners, ya'll did an awesome job! 

The bread actually had more to it, but this is what my husband brought me.  Guess it was a joke or something...these were all the main entrees.  There were appetizers, entrees, and desserts.  yum yum

First Crop of 2012 & Last Weekend Fun

It is so exciting when your hard work pays off.  My friend Betsy said she just picked her 1st two tomatoes as well.  She bought one of the raised garden sets from Sam's (I believe).  This is a new endeavor for her.  I wish you the best!
I put the tomatoes on the window sill to ripen.

some drum sticks & check out the new transparent
drum set which wasn't on display.  The boys have a
blast because everyone admires their drumming skills.

This guy was definitely a distraction on the interstate.  But, a very interesting one.  We followed him & switched lanes to read the other side.  That's one way to advertise! 
The next one could be offensive to some, but compared to the things we are seeing & hearing in society today this is nothing.

My husband & son were driving through the city and saw this....ET had his dad pull over so he could take a picture.  The thing on the top of the vehicle is something that looks like a coffin......yikes......i am not sure about this one.  Ok, they also have a bike on the back, so just maybe it's some kind of triathlon they are involved in or something similar for rednecks.

In other news........in approximately 13 days my lil Reesie will be having puppies once again.  I will keep you informed.  This is it, she's getting fixed after all this drama is over.  Her picture is on side so if you know anyone looking for a Shih tzu puppies talk to my husband.....oh yeah and Oreo, who's picture is also on side, is poppa dog.
